Mike is committed to building the SensusOne business model nationally and is the acting Head Coach of the company. Mike is a thirteen year veteran of the real estate business, having been President of a business turnaround project for six years prior. “I believe in small company entrepreneurialism and a culture driven by teamwork and the sharing of team success, which is why we have created one of the most experienced healthcare companies in the country.”
Mike has developed and financed in excess of $220 million in real estate projects before moving on to create his vision of creating the most knowledgeable healthcare company east of the Mississippi.
Mike is married with three boys, has a double major in finance and economics and an MBA from the University of Maine. “We live to improve the quality of life for human beings”.
Stewart represents the Sensusone mission as a Partner in the State of Mississippi with his home in Jackson, MS. He has an economics degree from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. Stewart is a 28 year real estate veteran. For the past twelve years, Stewart was Co-Founder and President of Colony Properties, a mixed-use investment and development company creating in excess of $300 million in assets. Colony Park is recognized today as the finest commercial/mixed-use development in the State of Mississippi. He has had other stops at Southeast Capital Partners and Eastgroup Properties creating in excess of $600 million in real estate assets.
Stewart is a director of Mississippi Valley Title Insurance Co., former trustee of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, former state chairman of the Young President’s Organization and served as a Director of Merry Land Properties, Inc. Stewart is married and has two children.
Elliott Summey is a Project Development Officer and Partner with SensusOne, providing leadership to our expanding business in the Southeast. Based in Charleston, SC, Elliott’s experience as a commercial real estate developer has been a specialization in master planning and entitlement work for the past decade in the southeast (TN, VA, GA, SC, FL). Most notable, he lead the sustainable master planning effort of the 1600 acre Ingleside Plantation Development located in North Charleston, SC where he facilitated all entitlements, including the zoning, wetland mitigation, tax increment financing and permitting of road, water and sewer.
He has significant experience in the field of construction, primarily in site work where most of the financial risk for a project exists. He created and owned a transport and site construction business, which handled the clearing, grading and hauling of site material and asphalt. This business also constructed projects for water, sewer and storm water utilities.
Along with is work in site construction and real estate, Elliott is a Public Servant currently serving in his third term elected to Charleston County Council. He has lead the economic development effort for the County since his swearing in on January 2009. During that time, the Charleston County team has posted its greatest years of success by luring over 15,000 new jobs and over $3 Billion in private investment working with notable companies such as Boeing and Mercedes. In 2009, the Charleston Regional Business Journal named Elliott one of its 40 Under 40 award recipients for his accomplishments in both the business and civic sectors.
David is a Partner in Sensusone. He is the former President of a locally owned commercial real estate brokerage business in Charlotte, North Carolina and brought Colliers International to North Carolina. During his 35 year career, he has represented clients in land acquisition, development, investment sales and leasing of office and industrial real estate. David represented three fortune 500 companies in the three largest industrial build to suit transactions in Charlotte, NC. He is also a partner in an $80 million office park development in Charleston, SC.
He is a legacy member of the Society of Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers (SIOR) which recognizes a consistent trend of high performance in the industry. He is the first Director of the “Friends of the Semper Fi Fund Golf Tournament” honoring our Wounded Warriors. David is married with two children and enjoys his golf in the low country.
Gary is a Partner in Sensusone, comes from a construction family and has forty two years of building experience. In 1999, he left the family construction business to create his own real estate development and investment company and has since invested in and developed in excess of $330 million in real estate.
Gary is a seasoned healthcare real estate professional with master planning and mixed-use development experience. He was on the core team for the 200 acre campus master plan for St. John Providence Hospital that included a 200 bed teaching hospital with 600,000 square feet of space for clinical specialties. This project was enhanced with his 330,000 sf Westmarket Square Retail destination across the street.
Gary makes his home in Novi, MI, is married with three children and spends his free time on the water at his summer home in South Haven, MI and on the tennis court.
Ty is a Partner in Sensusone and represents our healthcare mission in the State of Louisiana. Ty worked in the banking industry for five years prior to entering the commercial real estate business. He was a principal in his Louisiana-based commercial real estate firm for ten years before merging with a large regional real estate company four years ago. Ty has a broad and long standing local knowledge of the area’s business environment, business leaders and real estate market.
He serves on the Baton Rouge Business Development Advisory Committee and the Advancement Council for Dunham School. Ty is a graduate of Louisiana State University (The LSU), makes his home in Baton Rouge, is married, has two children and makes a point of not missing any LSU Tiger football games.
