NORTH CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA: In partnership with Roper St. Francis Healthcare, DWG Engineers, Ohlson Lavoie Architects, Trident General Contractors and MSF Capital, SensusOne has completed a redevelopment project at 7832 Rivers Ave., the former home of K&W Cafe. “It is important to SensusOne to create partnerships that enhance a community, by repurposing existing buildings and creating relevant space from older obsolete real estate assets,” states Michael Piette, Principal of SensusOne. “Investing our capital in real assets that reduce cost for our hospital clients and improve the delivery of healthcare is our company mission.”
SensusOne is leasing the 13,000 square foot 24-hour Emergency Department to Roper St. Francis Hospital Diagnostics and ER – Northwoods. This 15-exam room facility will offer outpatient diagnostics, CT and X-ray scans and will open on April 11, 2019. “We are so excited to be offering quality, accessible, compassionate care here in North Charleston,” said Roper St. Francis Healthcare President and CEO, Lorraine Lutton.
This new facility replaces the 2233 Northwoods Blvd facility with upgraded technology and adding modern amenities. SensusOne is recognized for partnering with health care organizations to help develop sophisticated healthcare facilities to address care delivery problems that create a positive impact in their communities. “We have a significant population of traffic living and traveling through this area and the services you are going to be offering them from an emergency standpoint is unbelievable,” North Charleston Mayor, Keith Summey said. “The contract that we have – it’s an unwritten contract – with Roper St. Francis Healthcare, is that you are there to provide the best level of care to our people and we greatly appreciate that. Thank you for caring enough about the people of this area to make this investment to enhance the quality of life for all of our people.”
